The CIP '06: What did we do?

What did we do?
The Fencing Pictures team arrived on-site with its media hub, and soon cameras and mixers wired into the arena video system, ready for light and color tests.
During the events, we filmed the fencing from several high definition cameras, fed the large-screen jumbo-trons in the arena with several live-mix camera angles, updated a high-traffic website with up-to-the-minute information, and took color commentary of the action from famed French Maestro Patrice Menon. Using all our footage, we produced exciting, industry-defining promotions and marketing spots which the French Federation will use to promote its other tournaments, as well as next year's CIP.
All our footage is shot in High Definition, allowing it to be down-mixed into standard DVDs, Internet streaming video, or even big screen (think Hollywood) films.
Meanwhile, Fencing Pictures DVD products were on-hand to satisify audience members who couldn't wait to see more high-production fencing video. Throughout the tournament, Fencing Pictures DVDs, displayed on a sharp flat-screen television, drew customers into the French Federation boutique.
The CIP was also another test run for our forthcoming video streaming service. Although Fencing Pictures did not provide the video streaming for the CIP, we were perfecting our streaming process: Polished, highly produced video with available for a one-time payment, or subsidised by a sponsor, with only a short delay.
